Stay Globally Connected
During the COVID19 social distancing, Global Engagement is facilitating future study abroad opportunities, supporting international students and scholars, and encouraging all to connect globally even when not face-to-face.
Immigration updates and campus resources such as SNAC hours, student health, and more can be found on the ISSS Portal.
Immigration advisors are available for virtual and phone appointments. We encourage you to use Webex appointments when possible to enable the sharing of screens and documents. Call 797-1124 for your phone appointment, or to schedule an appointment.
- Earn academic credit while working remotely
- Develop professional skills while gaining international experience
- Students are connected with companies worldwide for part- or full-time assignments, lasting 4 to 12 weeks, with start dates as early June 22 through the end of 2020
The International Friends Program (IFP) would like to inform you that they have a few volunteers from the Cache Valley community that are willing to help interested students with their English conversation and pronunciation. They are also here just to talk and answer any questions you might have about the community, the present health crisis, or anything else on your mind.
These interactions would take place online rather than in person due to the COVID-19 circumstance we have right now. So you might use FaceTime, Zoom or any other app you and your partner would choose. If you are staying in Logan beyond the end of the Spring semester, and if you are interested, please let them know by replying to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Welcome to the Office of Global Engagement. We oversee and facilitate study abroad programs, immigration advising for international students and visiting scholars, Fulbright programs, and international agreements. We strive to make USU a warm, welcoming, and diverse community of global citizens. If it's global, contact us.
